Come meet the new GM of EYH and get excited for Hockey Season!
July 19, 2013

The Everett Hockey Booster Club (EYHBC) would like to congratulate Jerry Weir on his recent appointment as the General Manager of the Everett Youth Hockey (EYH) program!

Jerry's countless years of experience, professionalism, and dedication to hockey excellence, at all levels of play, will be a tremendous asset for EYH going forward. He has been a force in hockey instruction and coaching in the region for many years, and many who know Jerry personally will tell you that his passion for teaching the game of hockey to young players is unmatched. EYHBC would like to extend a warm welcome to Jerry and his family to the EYH and EYHBC communities. EYHBC looks forward to working closely with Jerry to ensure he and his staff have all of the necessary resources to deliver a world class hockey experience at Comcast Arena for all who play there. EYHBC would also like to recognize Christopher Raub and the EYH Program Committee for the great heights they have achieved over the past nine years and thank them for their steadfast devotion to growing youth hockey in the region. Without their countless hours of effort, EYH would not be what it is today with over 150 players and 12 teams total.

Finally, the EYHBC would like to thank Global Spectrum, Comcast Arena General Manager Jeff Schumacher, the Everett Silvertips organization and Silvertips General Manager Garry Davidson for their massive commitment to youth hockey with the recent announcement of a strategic alliance with EYH. With this level of backing and support, there are boundless opportunities for the EYH program to continue to grow and evolve into one of the premier youth hockey associations in the region.

With all of the news and excitement surrounding EYH these past few days, the EYHBC would like to invite everyone to join us for a EYH 2013-14 Season Kickoff and Cookout. The event will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, from 11am to 3pm at Forest Park in Everett (near the street hockey court). With any change, questions arise and EYHBC is hosting this event to afford everyone an opportunity to meet Jerry personally as we all mingle and prepare for the up coming season.

This is a kid friendly event so if you have an interest in EYH, come have lunch, bring the street hockey gear and let's drop the puck!

Everyone is invited so mark your calendar for the kickoff, renew your EYHBC membership and register your players for EYH today!
